Born in Hull, in the UK, but ultimately living for most of her youth in Grimsby, Pam was introduced to ballroom dancing at a young age, and, showing great aptitude, became part of the the local Ballroom Dancing Formation Team, organized by Jimmy Stevenson. Such was their success that they were able to capture, for four years, the coveted Open British Formation title.

Adventure called however, and she decided to try life in the USA, and remained there for many years in the Washington DC area, and, still driven by the dance bug, competed successfully as a professional, and spent many hours, studying, in the very successful school, 'Danceland'. Run by Geoffrey with partners, he had also ultimately succumbed to the adventure call!

It was there that she first met Peter, little knowing that years later their acquaintance would blossom into the happily married life that they now enjoy together.
